FAQ'S

  • What will happen during my Intimate Wax?
First of all youll be shown to the waxing room. Then youll fill out a booking form so we can find out a little bit about you, any skin allergies etc that may hinder your treatment. We'll then go into a little bit more detail about what to expect from your treatment. Youll then be given some privacy to undress from the waist down, Lie on the bed and use the towels provided to keep yourself covered up. The room and everything we use is immaculate so rest assured youll be in good hands.
  • Will it be painful?
Depends, the first time it may be a little sore, but most people say it isnt as bad as they expected it to be. As you get waxed more regularly the hair gets finer and sparser which in turn makes it less painful.
  • How much hair should i have before arriving to my appoinment?
The ideal hair length is roughly 1cm or shorter (a grain of rice), if you have too much dont worry we can trim it down for you. But not enough hair wont work as our hot wax wont grip. But dont worry, you can just wait for the length to grow out some more and book in.
  • What is the difference between Hot Wax and Strip Wax?
Hot Wax is spread thickly onto the skin and allowed to dry slightly before its gently peeled away. The benefits include few in-grown hairs, less breakage and therefore loger re-growth periods. The wax is also good for sensitive areas. Strip Wax is recommended for thicker, less sensitive skin. for example legs, arms, back, chest and shoulders. A thin layer of wax is applied to the skin and is then removed using a paper strip.
  • Do you use the same kind of wax for Intimate waxing as for backs etc?
No, for the intimate areas we use hot wax, and for backs, chest etc we use strip wax using thinner wax which is then peeled off using a strip.
  • Where do you use Hot Wax?
Bikini, Underarm and Facial hair. A thin layer is placed to more sensitive areas.
  • Do I have to go on all fours to get the bum area waxed?

  • Do i keep my underwear on for Intimate waxes?
